HEYYYY

Alma 34:
32 For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet

God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform

their labors.

We preach repentence unto all these people each and every day, and it makes me so sad whenever the people we teach are not humble enough to recieve a message from God. They do not understand that this is the time to repent. We need to understand Gods will more, and we need to repent each and every day or else we are not using Christs atonement for us. If we dont repent, we will have to take upon ourselves the sins we have commited. Would it not be easier to use the atonement. We need to trust in God more, for he is someone that we can whole-heartedly trust!

Alma 7:20

I perceive that it has been made known unto you, by the

testimony of his word, that he cannot walk in crooked paths;

neither doth he vary from that which he hath said; neither hath he

a shadow of turning from the right to the left, or from that which is

right to that which is wrong; therefore, his course is one eternal

round.

God is trustable. Believe. Trust. Repent.

Thats my words for this week, because there are too many prideful people in this world, and ignorance is not bliss.

We had an amazing week and we are seeing many people change their lives. We are so excited and love these people. I went on divisones for 2 days last week. One with Elder Lazerson who has really helped me become a better missionary! We got a little sad as we finished our day and realized how much we love these chilean people. Its so great to just run and hug a guy you dont even know. We have so much fun flipping peoples hats backwords, putting on taxi drivers seat belts, tickling old men, giving people ties, and talking on peoples little microphones that sell stuff in the street. I fear no men. I only fear God. So we have been practicing fearing no one, because the answer will always be no if we dont ask!
A member came up to us at church and ask me if we have been giving out ties because one of his friends got a tie from some missionaries. I smiled and sayed Yes.
I also traded ties with a Jehovas Witness. We came to a happy agreement that we need to prepare ourselves for Christs second coming, and we exchanged ties. Missionary work!
We have also been having alot of fun making people do good things in the street. Like making one man we contact hug another man in the street and say "Te qiuero" haha. We have been trying lots of multiple contacts where we have people contact themselves and we just host the event. For example: We contact someone at their gate, they come out and want nothing to do with us. We make them laugh by trying to hug them or tickle them or something, and then they say no, so we make a guy walking buy give them a hug. Or we make youth talk to grandmas about youthful problems and the grandmas give advice. Its so fun!
We also ended up having a bbq with someone we contacted. We planned out the lunch and came and barbicued meat! His name is papi lucho! haha
We are having a blast being creators of our own circumstances (:

INCREDIBLE WEEK.

INCREDIBLE WEEK.
So lets see,
Tueday we had Lidership Council in presidents house like 2 hours to the north in Rancagua. Boy, was that amazing or what! I learned so many great things (:
On the way home, we got a call saying we would be in a trio with another elder, so now we are 3! We are now companions with Elder Welker from Idaho. He goes home in 3 weeks! We are having a blast in with 3. Because we can work alot with members and go out with them and have one group of missionaries finding new people and a missionary and a member teaching all the people we find. Its like the coolest was to hasten the work!

Coolest story of the week:
We teach a gradnma and grandpa named Teresa and Domingo. They are less active members and are striving to come back. One of the main challenges of the hermana is smoking. We went in to their house and sat down and and tried to get her to tell us her challenges, and why she cant progress. We already knew she smoked but it was important that she told us. So after finding that out, we taught an awesome scripture from corrinthians about the obedience that a chile has for its parents and the obedience and discipline with our father in heaven. We taught with such a thick spirit that she immediately felt such remorse and in such debt with her father in heaven that she went and got her last cigarrete and broke it in front of us. Im pretty sure you couldve caught the spirit in a fishing net it was so thick. I learned so much about how important it is to teach with the spirit because it makes people do things that they need to to progress in this world!
We have been taking alot of pictures with random people here in Talca, and we are finding out how to never get rejected. We are having so much success that we have to stop talking to people so that we can teach the lessons we have planned! They is so much work to do and so little time each day!!!
We found a lady this week who is a very free spirit and paints super well! We are gonna try to cultivate her talents and have her paint temples and pictures of christ for people in the church and of course we wanna baptize her. We showed her all the pictures of like Jospeph smiths house and all those old time houses in the back of the triple of scriptures and she wants to paint them!
The happiest moment of the week:
We taught this letter family who lives in a room smaller than my parents bathroom. They dont even have room to have 2 beds. The spirit was so thick that they decided they would come to church. ( the power of the story of the restoration of the church is so powerful) On sunday morning, 5 minutes before the minute, this little family rolled up to church in their nicest clothes and all smiley and what not! My companion and I just looked at each other and thanked God for such an experiance!
Yesterday we didnt get to write because the whole mission met together in Rancagua( 2 hours to the north) and we had Elder Craig Christensen speak to us from the 70. Can I just say WOW. Such an incredible talk and the presecence of the spirit was so immense that I couldnt help from tearing up a little here and there. It was the first time the whole mission has gathered together since I have been out. When President Warne gave his testimony, I was just awed. My mouth was wide open and I just cant explain what I felt and saw in words. INCREDIBLE.
The work is truly being hastened and we need more help! Go out with the missionaries, invite people to church and invite the missionaries to teach your friends.
I love you all

WHATS UP!

WHATS UP!
Where do I start. Can I just say, I dont think Ive ever had so much fun in my life. This week was just incredibly amazing. So many things to write about, and so many pictures were taken, because I dont even have the personal time of the day to write down what we did. We just work and plan and work and plan and have no personal time whatsoever. (: But I LOVE it.
Alright, so first of all we have been calling alot of people to repentance just like Alma and Almulek do alot in the book of mormon and its been working suprising well for us. Thats the key to conversion. Repentence. If someone can truly repent for all their actions and continue to repent every day, it would be really hard to fall away from the church and really hard to to be just so happy every day! We have seen more people cry because of the words the spirit has put into our mouths. People are changing their lives for the better. We had a 3 baptisms on saturday and reactivated the mom, making a whole family in the church. So amazing. The happiness I saw in them. We were asked to help in the confirmation of the spirit in front of the whole ward on sunday, which was my first time to help in that ordinance, and boy can I say I felt the spirit roll out of my body and enter into the hermano who I had my hands on. Whenever the bishop said "R-R-R-Recibe el espiritu santo," my body just shook in the power that we have as priesthood holders. It was a marvillous experience.

We had one day this week which was just really hard. We were havinng much success and we talked to alot of people that day and we got rejected alot that day. We were kinda discouraged and we had alot of appointments fall. Finally, the last house we talked too was a nice old man named Luis. He let us in his house and told us he was a scout leader. Of course my companion and I pulled out our eagle scout cards and rejoiced in the greatness of the program. (Thanks dad for pushing me) He said we would have to leave in a few minutes because he had somone coming to visit him. So about 5 minutes later we heard "Allo" which is how we ring the door bell here. We were kinda bummed cause we knew we had to go. And then out of now where, one of the return missionary sisters walks in and says Hey Elders! We were filled with excitement as we shared a the gospel(good news) with this hermano and a sister from the ward. AWESOME.
We have been just talking to EVERYONE in the street. We have just been focusing on building up peoples days like the video called Validation on youtube! Were having a blast. We have been taking pictures with alot of chileans too. (:
We also found another awesome family this week who are part members. We had an amazing lesson on the atonement of christ and they are really interested!
The most fun contact of the week was when we saw a man riding down the street on his tricicle. I think Ive sent home pictures of those things! Its like a tricicle with a big storage space in front. They are everywhere here. They are like the trucks of chile. We point at one like we would to a taxi, and he pulled over. We asked him if he would take us. He said no but we could take him. So my comp hopped on a bike and i sat with the man in the storage space in front and did a contact while driving down the road. So funny (:
Today we went to the beach and went on the oldest running train in south america. Super fun! We met lots of funny chileans like hillbillies. We also found a cave. (:
Hey, work hard. Many times as members we are only active in the church, but we arent active in the gospel.
If you find your self in that situation. Repent, and get active in the gospel. We are too fortunate to have this knowledge and we dont have the right to be messing up with all the stupid things that the world says we should do.
I love you all. Thanks for the support.

Im now experiancing a what the mission really should be like!

WOW.
Im now experiancing a what the mission really should be like!

Elder Adair and I got put together (We met in the mtc in mexico a year ago) and we are having a blast!! Or en chileno: "Estamos pasandolo chancho!!" Wow. We dont feel like companions. We feel like 2 brothers who are put together just loving the lord and doing his will! I feel like we are Alma and Almulek from the book of mormon knocking down jailhouse walls. We have 4 baptisms planned for this week, and I went from teaching like 10-15 lessons a week to like teaching 30 lessons a week and finding tons of new poeple! We are in the independencia ward here in the city of Talca. We had 180 people in church yesterday as opposed to the week before in my last sector with 40 people. SO CRAZY. This is the first ward I have seen in chile that works how it should. There are like 5 fresh return missionaries, and its just crazy!
We have tons of awesome people we are working with! This past week we made like 4 poeple just burst into tears of happiness or of need to repent and change their life. Its amazing how when we work closer with spirit, God truly puts words in our mouths. Just incredible week, with so many poeple wanting to make changes in their lives. We are truly working as hard as we can to be examples and love the Lord!
We live alone, so we have alot of time to do planning and get everything put together.
We just tore it up!
We did a practice with a guy in the street and made him tell someone else he loved him. We had water drinking contests and balloon blowing up contests. We just have so much fun and enjoy life so much! We are both just bored of following the normal missionary routine so we are trying to switch things up a little bit more!
The family that I was going to baptize this week in pichilemu sent me some awesome pictures of them getting baptized in the ocean (:
Life is good.
HAPPINESS IS NOT REAL, UNLESS IT IS SHARED.

Gua'jale!

Gua'jale!
I broke my investigators head open, broke my camera, and ripped my last pair of pants...
If that doesnt make you read this letter, I dont know what will.. haha
but,
Good afternoon Americans (:
Im chilean for the day rocking my chupalla(traditional chilean cowboy hat)
Wow this week wasss nutssss!

So tuesday we spent tuesday in the hospital because one of our investigators fell in the church building and cracked his head open here.. its interesting in south america because the little taxi cars are faster than ambulences, so we did that tuesday.
Wednesday I went on splits with an Elder who I was with in my first zone. He goes home this next change so it was cool to see how much we have both grown! We had an awesome day and did some fun contacts! Earlier that day we had district class and after we made a video for the christmas video they are doing for the mission. We had a fake snowball figght and I filmed... And in the long run, my camera got smashed to the floor and broke.. So now I dont have a camera.. (:
To comlete my already interesting week, I ripped my last pair of pants, and my shoes are starting to detoriate. I guess its just part the mish! (:
My only words for this week are: COME WHAT MAY, AND LOVE IT. They are all things one could get really down on, but I have jyst learned so much here in chile to love every single moment of the mish whether it be good or bad. Im just so happy its ridiclous.
Saturday we headed up to santa cruz for our stake conference(but really its only a district conference) and we spent the night with the elders there! It was all really fun! That night the whole zone was together after the meeting, and my companion and I are both leaving the sector! Im going down south to a city called Talca with a companion who came out with me! Im so stoked! The only bad part is friday we had the pre-enterview for 2 of the poeple we have been working with alot to get baptized!
So last night we visited all the members saying goodbye. Our investigators cried and cried. It was a really sad night, but it felt good to be so loved by someone who I had only known for 2 months. Its interesting because in my blessing it talks about the love people will have for me for the message I bring them. I feel honored every day to put on my plack and bring the message of the restoration of Christs church to all.
I have been so blessed! I loved this sector and it will be sad to go, but Im happy to follow Gods will for me.
I love you all! Thanks for your support (:

HELLLOOO,

HELLLOOO,
How is it going familization?
I had a great week studying the general confence talks from the last week! Ive narrowed it down to my 4 favorites!
Elder Christofferson
Elder Bednar
Elder Klebingat
and of course President Monson!

We had a pretty great week last week! We are working with some new people and are still working with our golden family! (: Life is just so good out here in the mission. I cant believe how fast the time has gone by, and it had made me reflect quite a bit recently. Ive been trying to just consegrate myself to the work. The promise in Matthew 16 says those who lose in their lifes in the work of the Lord will find their life. There isnt many things more important that sharing the knowledge that we have. Happiness isnt real until its shared.
We had a great week though, some good success, and we had some traveling to do as welll.
We traveled to santa cruz on friday night, and stayed the night with some other Elders. We were 10 people in one house! In the end of the night, the gringos were in one room, and the latinos were in another room, just kinda funny! (:
Saturday morning, we headed up to San Fernando for a 2 zone conference! We learned alot and had tons of fun!
The mish is just so great! So many awesome experiances every week!
The best experiance of the week was watching the restoration video with our investigators and just enjoying in so much. We watched it with my bose speaker connected so it just gave just much more impact (: The spirit was strong, and we all felt the power of the truth made manifest by the spirit.
Today we went exploring in the bosque (forrest) Pichilemu means Pequeño Bosque (Small Forrest) in the native mapuche language here in Chile.
Life is good!
I miss you all,
Love,

This week was awesome!

I still havent heard from Dallas!
This week was awesome!
To start off, I met Sister Bradshaw who is from springfield today! We had 2 zones come to Pichilemu. Cool stuff to have someone else from Springvegas! There are 2 other missionaries apart from her who are missourians, so we are 4 here!

We went on splits with the assistants this week and that was a blast. It gave me that extra boost nessisary to fully become my self and try to reach my potencial! We talked to tons of people this week. TONS. And the results payed off. We found 3 new people, and brought 3 to conference. Pretty awesome from having nothing the week before. I am just working as hard as I can so that other people can understand the importance of this everlasting Gospel. Some people just dont understand and it drives me crazy. Our message is simple. God loves us, so he calls prophets. Prophets are vital to guide Christs church to have the authority to administer what we do. Jospeh Smith was called as the first prophet in this dispensation to re establish Christs only church here on the earth. Its vital to be baptized by someone who has the authority from God. Through Faith in Jesus Christ everything is possible, and we are also entitled to personal revelation to know if these things are true. Simple. Why dont more people understand. Thats at least what I feel everyone needs to know. So yeah, Im happy, and life is good.
Conference was AWESOME. President Monsons talk blew me away. Its not important that we walked where Christ walked, but to walk as he walked. As I have been studying the new testament, along with Jesus the Christ, I find more and more that the will of the Father in heaven is so important. Jesus Christ did not just make an example for us, he is our example. He life was his greatest sermon. So what does that say about us? Our our lives our greatest sermons. Do we live the example and have our own personal ministry. We need to nutrish our testimonies ever day through the power of pray, study, and attending church. The prophet is vital for us in this life to guide us to live with our Heavenly Father again.
If you arent a member of this church, learn more about it, and be one.
The mission field is great. Im learning tons, becoming firm in my testimony and learning what becoming a man of God is.
Not every day is bright and sunny, but all flowers grow through dirt, and one day after many hard ones, we will sprout and become beautiful flowers. (:
My favorite story of conference was Bednars about his 2 sons and sharing the oitment and bandaids in relation to sharing the gospel. When we find something awesome, we must share it. True happiness is only found when shared.
Thanks for all the support.
